What Diabetic Supplies Are Worth the Most in 2026?

Updated 2026

Not all diabetic supplies have the same resale value. Here's a ranking from highest to lowest per-unit value, so you know what to prioritize.

Tier 1: CGM Sensors (Highest Value)

Continuous glucose monitor sensors have the highest resale value per unit of any diabetic supply category. A single Dexcom G7 sensor pays up to $45. A box of 3 pays up to $120. This is because CGMs have high retail prices and consistent demand from people who can't afford full insurance coverage.

ProductPer Unit
Dexcom G7Up to $45
Freestyle Libre 3Up to $40
Dexcom G6Up to $35
Freestyle Libre 2Up to $32

Tier 2: Insulin Pump Supplies

Omnipod pods, Tandem cartridges, and Medtronic reservoirs are the second-most-valuable category. A box of 10 Omnipod 5 pods pays up to $90 — that's $9 per pod.

Tier 3: Test Strips

Test strips pay less per unit but most sellers have more of them. Freestyle Lite and Contour Next are the most valuable brands at up to $18 per 50-count box. Budget brands (ReliOn) pay much less.
