Yes — 100% legal. If you purchased your strips out-of-pocket or through private insurance, you can sell any extras you no longer need. The only restriction is strips obtained through federal programs (Medicare/Medicaid) — those cannot be resold. StripValue only buys personally purchased strips.
The most common reason: your doctor switched you to a CGM (Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre) so you no longer need finger-stick testing. Other reasons include changing brands due to insurance, receiving too many boxes before a refill cutoff, or a family member passing away and leaving behind supplies. Don't let hundreds of dollars expire — sell them.
Factory sealed in original manufacturer packaging with an intact seal and at least 4 months until the expiration date. We do not accept opened boxes, partial vials, or strips with damaged packaging. Each box must have a legible expiration date printed on it.
