Why Dexcom G7 Pays More

What Affects Your CGM Payout

Expiration date (most important)

We require at least 3 months until expiration. 6+ months: full price. 3–6 months: slightly reduced. Under 3 months: we can't accept it.

Original sealed packaging

Sensors must be in the original sealed blister pack or box. If the box is open but sensors are sealed inside, call us — it depends on condition.

Quantity

Multi-packs pay slightly more per unit than individual sensors. If you have 10+ sensors, ask about bulk pricing.

Dexcom G6 vs G7 — Which Should I Sell?

If you have both, sell your G6s first. G6 is being phased out as the clinical standard, and its resale value will trend downward over the next 12 months as more patients upgrade to G7. G7 will hold value longer.

That said, if your G6s are 6+ months from expiration, now is still a good time — you'll get $120–$155 for a 3-pack versus waiting and potentially getting less.
